Robert Shumsky, a QSS steering commitee member, has recently published an article in the Harvard Business Review on "What Safe Shopping Looks Like During the Pandemic". In this article he and his co-author Laurens Debo describe "three principles" for helping retailers implement social distancing that they have come up with based on their own research, funementals of operation management, and information on how the disease is transmitted.
