Professor Daniel Rockmore, Director of the Neukom Institute for Computational Science at Dartmouth College, and colleagues have established three competitions to explore the Turing Test. The goal of the test is to write a computer program which creates something a human might create, in such a humanlike way that the end product is indistinguishable from what a real human would produce.
