QSS 15 poster session

On Friday, November 10, students in QSS 15: Introduction to Data Analysis presented posters for the final culmination of their quarter-long group projects. Each group of 3-4 students collected their own data. While project guidelines required that students use an experimental approach where they randomized treatment assignment, each group decided what topic to study, how to collect data, how to design an intervention, and how to communicate the results at the poster session. Topics covered in the QSS 15 poster session ranged from whether Dartmouth study spaces impact how well students focus to whether Dartmouth students are more likely to vote for house senator candidates whose pictures include dogs to how being a student worker affects overall experiences at Dartmouth.
