The Program in Quantitative Social Science (QSS) is pleased to congratulate its affiliated faculty members who have been honored for their scholarly achievements.
Two members of the QSS Steering Committee were promoted with tenure. They are
Feng Fu, Associate Professor of Mathematics
Kimberly Rogers, Associate Professor of Sociology
Brendan Nyhan was appointed to be the James O. Freedman Presidential Professor of Government
Rebecca Johnson, Assistant Professor of Quantitative Social Science, was awarded a Neukom Institute for Computational Sciences CompX Faculty Grant for her project, "Optimizing Schools? The Empirics and Ethics of Algorithmic Prioritization in K-12 Schooling."
Michael Herron, Professor of Quantitative Social Science, was presented with the Elizabeth Howland Hand-Otis Norton Pierce Award.
