New faculty expand scholarship at Dartmouth

The Program in Quantitative Social Science (QSS) is happy to announce that our two new faculty members, Assistant Professor Herbert Chang and Assistant Professor Elsa Voytas, were highlighted in the Dartmouth article, New Faculty Expand Scholarship at Dartmouth.

Professor Chang is a computational social scientist who studies social networks, online politics, and how artificial intelligence reshapes human relationships.  He received his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in 2023 and graduated from Dartmouth in 2018.

Professor Voytas's research examines how experiencing, remembering, and confronting past violence influences contemporary political decisions.  She received her PhD from Princeton University in 2021, was a post-doctoral fellow in QSS in 2021-22, and now is on the faculty.
