Statistical Consultant

David Cottrell serves as a statistical consultant for the Program in Quantitative Social Science.  David finished his doctorate at the University of Michigan in political science, and his current research focuses on using computational approaches to understanding represenation in American legislatures. David is the point-of-contact for QSS students seeking assistance with data analysis and statistical computing related to coursework or research in the social sciences. He is available to help students, faculty, and other scholars facing challenges working with data and can aid in using statistical programs like R and Stata.  David will be holding weekly office hours in Silsby Hall 224 on Wednesdays, 10:00am - 12:00pm.  He also available outside of office hours by appointment and via email.
