First postdoctoral fellow moves into new QSS space

The Program in Quantitative Social Science is located on campus in Silsby Hall.  Originally built in the late 1920s, Silsby houses a number of social science units, QSS included.  The QSS space was remodeled during the summer of 2017, and the first QSS postdoctoral fellow to move in is Jun Zhao.  Jun received her doctorate in Sociology from University of Georgia, and her dissertation was titled The Role of Educational Expectations, Friendship Networks, and Moral Codes in the Mental Health of Adolescents. While at Dartmouth, Jun is going to be working with Assistant Professor of Sociology Kim Rogers, who specializes in Social Psychology, Emotions, Group Processes, and Computational Social Science. The QSS space in Silsby Hall provides a common area for the program's postdoctoral fellows, where they can work and meet with students.  Jun will soon be joined by other scholars.
